Welcome to Radiant Goldens

We are a small breeder of AKC English Golden Retriever puppies, with European Championship bloodlines, in Middle Tennessee.  We live on 26 acres a hour south of Nashville, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills.  With three generation under one roof someone is always home with our animals.    We made the decision to choose a life of animal husbandry in 2010.  With numerous animals in our lives over the years, from chickens(layers), chicken(broilers), goats(dairy), cow(dairy/meat), cats, dogs, guinea pigs, we have grown and learned much from our animals.  By far, our favorite animals are our dogs.  We love our dogs and feel blessed to be able to share our home with our beloved Goldens.  With an abundance of space our dogs enjoy endless amounts of fresh air and time spent outside exercising in the sunshine, spending time with us and all the other creatures roaming our hills.  With a little over 4,000 sf home we have plenty of space for our dogs to lounge with us inside.  ​

Our Breeding Program

Here at Radiant Goldens, our family is dedicated to raising top quality genetically sound pet companions.  See our FAQ page HERE about Therapy/Service dogs.  All of our dogs are carefully chosen with high standards for health, temperament, intelligence and exceptional European championship pedigree's.   We practice and recommend a holistic natural rearing approach to the care of our dogs in an effort to optimize their immune system to prevent disease.  We limit exposure to toxins and carcinogens found in most dog products.  We do not use herbicides or pesticides on our farm, instead we use beneficial nematodes to control flee's, tick's, pesky ants and other unwanted insects.    We also do not use toxic cleaners in our home or around our home!  We also practice a limited vaccination protocol.  We effectively use herbal tinctures (some made by us), homeopathy (& HERE), Bach Remedies, muscle testing(kinesiology), electro-dermal screening(EDS) and biofeedback resonance, heavy metal detox, ancestry of whole foods, ozone therapy and near infrared light sessions when appropriate and if needed.  We use these options to help us identify stressors within the body in an effort to reduce and/or eliminate stress thus strengthening and building up the immune system.  We also have wonderful local licensed veterinarians when needed.  The knowledge we have learned we share with and pass on to all our puppy families.  Please also read our page about our life here on the farm.

All of our adult dogs receive extensive DNA testing including, Degenerative Myelopathy, Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, Osteogenesis Imperfecta(brittle bone disease), Sensory Ataxic Neuropathy, Ichthyosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Progressive Retinal Atrophy  (GR-PRA1, GR1-PRA, GR-PRA2, GR2-PRA, PRA-PRCD, PRCD).  We also test with the OFA for their hips, elbows, eyes and heart.  All of our puppies will be clear from the ICT(Ichthyosis) skin disorder.  We have either completed all testing on our adult dogs or we are in the process of completing testing.

Radiant Golden puppies are born in our home surrounded by our family, with endless hands on attention, love and supervision.  Each puppy receives individualized care with a puppy training protocol that prepares them to be integrated into your family with ease.  We have families whom have flown into Tennessee to pick up their new puppy,  with puppies currently living in Arizona, Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Oregon, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Wisconsin, and of course Tennessee.
